Background

Dr. Storrow is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He completed his Emergency Medicine Residency at the Joint Military Medical Centers in San Antonio, TX. He then went on to complete an American College of Emergency Physicians Teaching Fellowship and a United States Air Force Clinical Investigations Research Fellowship. Dr. Storrow has served has Associate Director of Emergency Medicine and Clinical Research Director for University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Department of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Storrow now serves as Associate Professor and Vice Chairman for Research and Academic Affairs for the Department of Emergency Medicine at Vanderbilt. He is the Program Director for the Vanderbilt Emergency Medicine Research Training Program (VEMRT), one of 7 NHLIB sponsored programs that promote research in Emergency Medicine nation-wide. His current research interests are the early diagnosis, risk stratification, and treatment of acute heart failure and ACS.
He is married to Julia and has two children, Robert and Allison. He enjoys running, mountaineering, backpacking and hiking.
