What does it mean to innovate? How do you meet the goals of the present while preparing for the future? It's an important question and it needs addressing. In our day-to-day lives we encounter problems seemingly more than we encounter answers and alternatives. To innovate is to approach these problems with creative solutions or simple alternatives. This page was created to give a little bit of insight into some of the exciting projects, practices, and theories we've created in the Emergency Medicine Department here at Vanderbilt. We'll discuss ideas, new technologies, common problems and new solutions here as we tackle some of the most important issues in IT and technical design. ![]() About the Authors: Richard Lascallette and Joshua Keckley are the creative team behind the multimedia in the department of emergency medicine. They will discuss each of their unique visions for technology as well as current projects and ideas. If you have any questions feel free to email them using the contact information provided in the contacts page of this site.
