Dr. Langston received his undergraduate degree in Anthropology from East Carolina University following a career as a paramedic. He received his medical degree from Ben Gurion University, Medical School for International Health in Beersheba Israel in 2007 where he was elected a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society. He completed his residency in Detroit at Wayne State University in 2010 where he received an award for resident teacher of the year. His academic interests include international and tropical medicine, disaster medicine, and pre-hospital emergency medicine. He has worked in Ethiopia, Cameroon, and Haiti and has travelled extensively throughout the Middle East. He is currently a fellow in International Emergency Medicine.
His non-academic interests include international travel, camping, and photography.
