In our world, video plays an important role. Actually seeing what is being taught or said brings a lot to the table. Today, we're proud to announce the rollout of our HTML5 media player. VanderbiltEM.com (emergencymedicine.mc.vanderbilt.edu) is now completely available on all browsers and mobile devices. All of it: our videos, written content, feeds, and other.
We couldn't be more excited about it. Make sure you visit our homepage today.
According to Engadget.com, Apple is now accepting pre-orders for their update to the pro series of mac products. A booming 12-core tower will run you about $5k with no configuring, but as engadget found out, that price can get pretty high:
"12-core Mac Pro (and revamped quad- and 6-core models) ready to order. Prices start at $4,999 for a pair of 6-core Xeon Westmere procesors humming along at 2.66GHz, 6GB of memory, a 1TB hard drive, SuperDrive, and ATIRadeon HD 5770 graphics. We configured ours with a pair of 2.93GHz CPUs, 2x HD 5770 graphics cards, 32GB of memory, 4x 512GB SSDs, and pair of optical drives for $16,249 just 'cause we could. Ships in 7 to 10 business days... bankruptcy in 365."
We're pretty eager to see where this goes and how fast 12 cores really are!
{jcomments on}So you just bought a new iPhone and you've discovered that there seems to be a hole in most of your daily websites. Rather than put the little broken plugin icon (the blue lego piece with a question mark on it), turns out Apple just decided to show nothing. Let's hope HTML5 standards actually come true quick!
Browsing my daily readers, I came across an Engadget.com article that shows how to get that pesky Flash plugin working on your iDevice. The question I have is, what is it going to do after I hack my phone?
