Carmen Wolfe, MD

Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine

Dr. Wolfe graduated summa cum laude from Vanderbilt University with majors in East Asian studies and biological sciences. After a year studying traditional Chinese medicine in Beijing, she returned to Nashville to continue her medical education at the Vanderbilt School of Medicine. Following graduation from medical school, she completed an emergency medicine residency at the University of California at Los Angeles / Olive View Medical Center program in Los Angeles, California. Her path then brought her back to Nashville once again to join the Vanderbilt Department of Emergency Medicine faculty as an assistant program director, focusing on developing a niche in medical education.

In her free time, Dr. Wolfe enjoys spending time with her husband in the outdoors.
