Assistant Director of Undergraduate Medical Education 

Emily graduated cum laude from Tulane University with a degree in Cell & Molecular Biology and Spanish. She also received her medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine. She completed residency training at the Harvard Affiliated Emergency Medicine Residency at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. She is delighted to join the medical education team at Vanderbilt as an Assistant Director of Undergraduate Medical Education. Her academic interests include curriculum design, improving bedside teaching, prehospital/paramedicine education and development of procedural teaching models.

A Louisiana native, Emily enjoys spicy food, travel, being outdoors, and being a mom to her geriatric cat, Harley. .
