Curriculum: strong and balanced!

Our curriculum utilizes the vast resources of Vanderbilt to provide optimal, state-of-the-art training in Emergency Medicine. Successful completion of this curriculum means you will pass your ABEM certification examinations, and you will have the knowledge base and procedural skill set to enter any practice setting you choose. You will receive ultrasound training, advanced airway training, and significant critical care, resuscitation, trauma, and prehospital experiences.

This curriculum was developed with the explicit input of our residents, past and present. We will continue to modify our curriculum according to the needs of our residents and the profession.
