Dr. Suszanski joined the Vanderbilt Faculty in 2023. He grew up in Hopedale, MA and went to medical school at the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, Ireland. Following medical school, he completed residency and an Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI. His interests include Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS), rTEE, Critical Care, Physician Wellness, Ultrasound Education and Biomarkers that can be used in the emergency setting. He has lectured and presented locally, nationally, and internationally. Dr. Suszanski enjoys the outdoors and is an avid cyclist and golfer. He is looking forward to exploring middle Tennessee and the Music City with his wife and 2 young children.
