Dr. Wilson is originally from Hattiesburg, MS. He attended the University of Mississippi for undergraduate studies. He attended the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS for medical school. It was during medical school that he developed a passion for medical student education and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. He completed his residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. After residency, he and his family relocated to Nashville and have thoroughly enjoyed their transition to this beautiful city. He has beautiful twin daughters, Charleigh and Ryleigh. He enjoys any and all sporting events, Crossfit, cooking, traveling and spending time with his family.
